Like most footy purists, I thoroughly enjoyed Swansea’s masterclass in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday. For a few minutes anyway. Then I thought about how Leeds could copy them.

If I could have joined in the post-film discussion at the Tyneside Language Cafe after watching ‘No’, then I would. But I don’t speak Spanish. So I didn’t.  But I did review it! (in English)

“No’s backdrop is the referendum of 1988, when General Pinochet bowed to international pressure and ordered a vote to legitimise his military rule, in place since 1973. The choice was simple but stark, vote Yes to keep Pinochet, vote No to get rid….”
